The Ottawa Senators are back again with a goalie controversy… well, the opposite of a controversy; who do they have / who wants to be their #1 starter?
- Murray is out for the season (quelle surprise :/ ) and has been a BIG disappointment for his price + health consistency. He’s seen here on hospital bed with a hopeful Dorian on phone with the boss (using the one company wide phone), and socks stuffed with all the Sens money .
- Forsberg has proven himself as reliant and solid starter, but there’s a history of Sens being burnt after signing these type of streakers. Seen here trying to get the attention he deserves, and hopeful he can finally find a home (equipment bags of Columbus, Chicago, and Carolina beside him).
- Gus is still a question mark. He’s getting run down this season from constantly being called up and down (seen here with one hand still in the ‘farm’), while carrying the weight being the fans hopeful future saviour.
- Then there’s the farm, where once was bountiful now seems bare… and inexperienced.
The ‘Bueller’ reference is from a fan’s point of view. Tired of where the team is, looking for the team to step up, wanting management to display a semblance of life, etc…
