THE CONCEPT:
The Ottawa Senators are such a unique team with a unique history. Here, I tried to encapsulate it with:
- Alfie, taking that quick slap to beat Miller on the left side to propelled one of the greatest Sens teams ever assembled (2003 Sens called) to the Stanley Cup Finals
- on bench: King Clancy, Frank Finnigan, Sparty, Chris Phillips, Bryan Murray, Chris Neil, the hamburglar, Karlsson, Andy, Sens Sicko, Brady, and Chabby
I’m adding the the background ‘fan favourite moments’. So far there’s:
- First Modern Day Sens goal by Neil Brady
- 50 in ’07
- Pizza Line
- Pageau (G is in shape of Habs logo, U is in shape of Rangers Logo)
- The famous Du-du-du Duchesne goal call
- First playoff win against Brodeur and NJ
- …and shade to the Leafs
