THE CONCEPT:
The boys are taking the BathMobile on a western road trip! Third Stop: Edmonton.
As the Senators embark on their Western Canadian Trip, I thought it’d be fun to do a Tin Tin (Georges Remi, who wrote under the pen name Hergé) type cover poster for each stop. With the BathMobile (and it’s 3 travellers: Brady Tkachuk, Josh Norris, and Drake Batherson) as the main character, we follow them through their adventures and adversities.
Edmonton:
To pass, they must confront the crudest of foes yet: The Oil Rig Man (Edmonton’s Alternate Logo 1996-2007). Beware near the refineries, the slickest of mullet does attack! Some voyagers speak of legendary Wayne Gretzky doing all it takes to defend his territory.
