Senators Through The Looking Glass
The Senators’ season has now entered the Doom phase. Their inspiring battle cry of ‘Who Wants It’ from last year has now turned into an internal quest to find their team’s character. They are facing deep struggles and they seem to be mentally shattered. Is there still a chance for them to turn things around, or is it too late?
Inspiration for this is from Black Sabbath’s sixth album titled Sabotage where the band is photographed infront of a large mirror. Regarded as one of Sabbaths’ best albums as well as one of its worst album covers, it kind of fits our Senators at the moment. To make this even more doomy and weird, I mashed it up with some Alice In Wonderland /Through the Looking Glass references: Jacques Martin as the White Rabbit, Alfie as the Caterpillar, and Stützle as the Cheshire Cat.
